Ravioli with Broccoli Sauce recipe

Ingredients:

¼ cup of olive oil.
4 garlic cloves, chopped.
Salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste.
¼ cup of dried red pepper flakes.
1 cup of heavy cream.
1 ½ lbs of broccoli.
½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
15 oz of ricotta ravioli.

Directions:

In a medium-sized saucepan, heat the olive oil.

Add the chopped garlic, salt, black pepper and red pepper.

Sauté for about 6 minutes or until the garlic is lightly browned.

Add the cream and cook for 20 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cut the broccoli into 1-½ inch flowerettes.

Place the broccoli in a separate pan, cover with water and cook until tender. Drain and set aside.

Add the grated Parmesan to the sauce mixture, stirring to blend.

Add the broccoli to the sauce, then pour over the ravioli.
